Raigmore Primary School is in Raigmore Estate approximately one mile east of Inverness city centre.  The catchment area comprises Raigmore Estate and the married quarters at Cameron Barracks.  The school roll is approximately 230 pupils from Nursery – P7.  The school is bright and attractive with a playground large enough for team games. It also has two garden areas offering an attractive, educational stimulating and often therapeutic resource as well as the opportunity to grow organic fruit and vegetables. There are currently 9 mainstream classes and 2 Nursery classes. We have a very well qualified support team offering not only curricular advice and support but also a range of enhanced support activities including Movement Programme, Hand Gym, Auditory Discrimination, Speech and Language Therapy, Relaxation and 1:1 Counselling.  This combined with a committed teaching staff allows us to take a truly holistic approach to the education of our youngsters.

The Raigmore Primary School Handbook for Parents is kept up to date at the following blog http://schoolhandbook.wordpress.com/.
