Fast Track

Fast Track works are a range of adaptations that can be installed in your home without the need for a full medical or Occupational Therapist’s assessment where the applicants meet the criteria.

However, we do reserve the right to refer applicants for full assessment if it is felt that their needs might be more complex than they seem.

Minor Adaptations

Certain minor adaptations such as grab rails can be provided directly by the Handyperson Service without the need for a full medical or Occupational Therapy Assessment.

If you think you might qualify for a minor adaptation through Fast Track, please contact your local Handyperson Agent to discuss your needs. However, Highland Council reserve the right to complete a full assessment if it is felt that it would be to the applicant’s benefit, or in periods of high demand to establish priority.
