Protecting your Property

You are the first line of defence against floods. It is your responsibility to protect yourself, your family, property or business. There are a number of proactive steps you can take if your property is at risk from flooding, including:

  • Making sure your building is adequately insured.
  • Considering the installation of flood protection products.
  • Have a family or business flood plan in place to protect your property and belongings.
  • Register to receive free SEPA flood warning messages via text message
