Energy/Carbon Management

Providing heat and power to Council properties accounts for a significant proportion of its energy use and carbon emissions. There is a need to address this issue in order to relief pressures on Council budgets as a result of rising energy costs; but also to mitigate climate change by reducing dependency on fossil fuels and reducing the Council’s carbon emissions.
