Scottish Government have issued the Energy Efficiency Action Plan. This is a plan to reduce energy use by 12% by 2020 and has committed £10M funding in support of this target.
Scottish Government have issued consultation on the duties that are to be placed on Local Authorities under the Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009. This has particular requirements on the Council to reduce energy and environmental impacts.
