Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005

The new act is now in force. The transition period will last from February 1st 2008 to 5.00am on 1st September 2009.

During this period certain parts of the 1976 Act will still be effective and we will be maintaining web pages and application forms for the old legislation meantime. 

Existing licence holders  have to apply for premises licences and where appropriate personal licences.  There is a strict timetable for premises licence applications.
