The new act is now in force. The transition period will last from February 1st 2008 to August 31 2009.
During this period certain parts of the 1976 Act will still be effective and we will be maintaining web pages and application forms for the old legislation meantime.
Existing licence holders will have to apply for premises licences and where appropriate personal licences. There is a strict timetable for premises licence applications.
Any licence which expires in March, regardless of the year, a premises application has to be submitted by March 7th 2008 and;
- if June then: June 6th 2008,
- if October then: October 3rd 2008,
- if January then: January 16th 2009
