Applicants have to submit layout plans . The Board’s requirements are set out ibelow. However, when the plans are submitted to the Board they are also scrutinised by a number of other public services and set out below is guidance from these parties of the matters they are interested in when scrutinising plans.
Seven copies are required.An electronic copy would assist the Board in dealing with the application but is not mandatory.
Appllicants should also consider the mandatory licence conditions for advice in respect particular issues eg children or off-sales
Licensees will be aware that under Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 the Firemaster does not routinely inspect premises following an application and inspection will be based on a risk profiling criteria. However, the Licensing Board and the Fire Officer will continue to work closely and share information about licensed premises.
