The European Union (EU) Energy Label
Appliances use differing amounts of electricity. How much is yours using? How much does it cost you and what is the cost to the environment?
Because appliance use differing amounts of energy, the European Union Energy Label is designed to tell you the exact energy consumption of your appliance in kilowatt hours (kWh) under standard conditions. It must, by law, be shown on all fridges, freezers, washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, electric ovens and lightbulb packaging. So, if you can't see the label, ask the retailer for assistance.
