The Energy Saving Trust is a UKorganisation addressing the damaging effects of climate change. It aims to achieve the efficient use of energy and the reduction in carbon emissions, a key contributor to global warming. Energy Saving Scotland Advice Centre
Energy Saving Scotland Advice Centres provide free, impartial and expert advice about energy efficiency, generating your own heat or power, and more efficient personal transport. It can also help consumers access grant funding towards the cost of loft and cavity wall insulation or small-scale renewables, such as solar or wind power. The local advice centre can be contacted on 0800 512 012 (free from a land line).

Boiler Efficiency Database
If you are thinking of having a new boiler installed this site could be useful as it contains a database which gives the SEDBUK (Seasonal Efficiency of Domestic Boilers in the UK) rating of gas, oil and LPG boilers.
