Trading Standards provides a consumer protection and fair trading enforcement service and is a regulatory service dealing with a wide range of Scottish, U.K. and European legislation relating to the quality, quantity, price, description and safety of goods and services. By enforcing this legislation we can help protect the interests both of Highland consumers and Highland businesses trading fairly. 

Trading Standards is based at 38 Harbour Road, Inverness and is part of Transport, Environmental and Community Services.
