Renting a garage

Apply for a garage or garage site

Read our guidance

We currently have garages and garage sites for rent. A garage is a  lock-up type building, usually of blockwork construction. A garage site is an area of land on which you can build your own, wooden garage, to a pre-agreed specification. If you build on a garage site, we retain ownership of the land and you own the garage.

Anyone over the age of 16 can apply for a garage or garage site.  You don't need to be a current council tenant but please note that Highland Council tenants will get priority for any vacancies.

You may apply for up to 3 garage locations but once you have accepted a tenancy at one location you will be removed from any other waiting lists.

Please phone 01349 886602 to find out what the rent is.

Garages and garage sites are allocated on a first come first served basis.

To apply for a garage or garage site:

Your garage or garage site lease

You should be aware of your rights and responsibilities as a garage or garage site tenant before signing the lease.  A copy of the lease will be given to you when you begin a garage or garage site tenancy.
