The Technical Advice Note for Forestry Extraction has been developed to provide guidance to those wishing to extract timber onto the public road networkby both existing and new extraction points.
It details the permits and permissions that must be obtained together with the extraction point construction standards which must be met before timber can be moved onto the road.
