Children’s services

Commissioned child health services with the following key functions:

• School nurse service
• Health Visiting service
• Allied Health Professional services

Children’s social work services with the following key functions:

• Child Protection
• Services for children with a disability
• Adoption fostering and kinship care services
• Services for young carers
• Corporate Parenting
• Services for children who are looked after

Adult services

• Mental Health Officer Services
• Justice Services

It should be noted that the delivery of adult social care services are delegated to NHS Highland pursuant to the lead agency model although the Council’s Chief Social Work Officer who is the Executive Chief Officer remains responsible for their delivery.
