Cairngorms National Park Authority Election
An election to elect one member to the Cairngorms National Park Authority to represent Ward 5 within the National Park Area will be held on 30 March, 2017.
At the close of the nomination period for the above by-election, there is more than one validly nominated candidate in the under mentioned ward. Consequently, an election will now take place. Ballot papers will be issued by post to all registered electors in this ward and must be returned in the pre-paid envelope provided by 4.00 p.m. on Thursday, 30 March 2017.
Elections are held every four years to elect 5 community representatives to serve on the board of the Cairngorms National Park Authority. One community member will be elected for each of the 5 wards within the national park area.
All electors registered to vote within the park boundary are eligible to vote and will receive their ballot papers through the post.
The candidates with the most votes in each Ward will be elected to serve on the board for 4 years.
