Modern school buildings programme

Overview of programme

Sustainable School Estate Review (SSER)

We are working with the Scottish Government to develop an ambitious 10-year programme to provide modern schools in the Highlands.

This review, which is being carried out in partnership with Caledonian Economics Limited, started in 2010. The review of education and community provision in Easter Ross is part of this process and includes Alness, Invergordon, and Skye.

To date, reviews of future education provision in Wick and also the greater Fort William area have been concluded.
