Overview

Portree and Braes Community Trust successfully applied for LEADER funding towards the cost of installing public toilets at the pier in Portree on the Isle of Skye. The temporary facility, which can be moved to a new site once a more comprehensive development takes place, will provide badly-needed public conveniences in an area where the local infrastructure has struggled to cope with the large increase in visitor numbers over recent years.
