Here are some of the things learners have said about Adult Basic Education:
“When my kids started overtaking me in reading I decided it was time to get help in going back to learning.”
“I didn’t think I could do it. Now I wish I had come for help years ago.”
“I was really scared to begin with but now I look forward to meeting my tutor. It’s not like school at all and I know for sure now that I’m not stupid – I can learn as well as anybody.”
Free training is also available for people interested in becoming volunteer tutors.
