Training opportunities

Putting the “E” in Equalities!

We are delighted to now offer teams (minimum 6 staff) an alternative to the full day Equal Opportunities & Diversity course. By completing approximately one hour of e-learning prior to attending a half day briefing session, you can:

  • Become familiar with Equalities Legislation;
  • Gain an understanding of the broader issues of
    equality and diversity;
  • Know your responsibilities and rights as an
    employee of the Highland Council.

The half day session is then spent looking further at some of the issues covered, through group exercises and discussion.
These briefings do not replace the existing full day course - they are simply there to help make equalities training more accessible.
