Psychological Service
Our Purpose and Aims
The purpose of the Highland Council Psychological Service is to support effective learning and well being in children and young people. The Service employs both educational psychologists and pre-school home visiting teachers for children with additional support needs.

News and Developments
Video Interaction Guidance Initial Training

Highland Educational Psychologists Heather Sked, Shiona Alexander and Helen O'Donohue recently ran a very successful course on Video Interaction Guidance. Social Workers, Autism Outreach Co-ordinator, Primary Mental Health Workers, trainee and assistant Psychologists left full of enthusiasm and eager to start VIG and supervision.
