Audits
Multi-Agency Audit 2008
Multi-Agency Audit January 2008 (Word 132kb) was undertaken between January 2008 and June 2008 and included professionals, parents and young people. Three hundred audit questionnaires were sent out and the returns consistently demonstrated that the Service is well received and respected by others who would use the Service more widely if capacity allowed. Responses indicate that professionals value direct input, consultation, training and development work and acknowledge the key part played by Educational Psychologists as part of multi-agency working in Highland, especially in relation to solution focused liaison groups and liaison arrangements
Audit of Young People 2008
As part of the process of evaluating the impact the Psychological Service has on children and young people a range of consultations were arranged, including direct consultation with children and young people through the use of discussion groups and a postcard audit to gather views. Audit of Young People 2008 (Word 31k) document gives a more detailed description of this process and the results of the audit.
Evaluations
Post-School Evaluation 2008
The Highland Council Psychological Service provision was enhanced to the equivalent of one full time equivalent Educational Psychologist in January 2007. This was in order for the Service to take forward its post-school strategy and improve the services it provides to 16 – 24 year olds. In order to use this resource effectively it was decided to appoint two Assistant Psychologists. They would be used to free up Educational Psychologists to develop a Post-School Psychological Service (PSPS) in their area. One Assistant was given a remit to monitor, evaluate and support the development of the PSPS across Highland. This Post School Evaluation 2008 (600kb PDF) summarises the evidence of work completed and evaluates the progress toward the initial criteria for success established prior to the PSPS beginning.
