For teachers and their pupils, with the availability of modern computers, peripherals, networking and resources within an increasingly diverse range of technologies, using ICT is an essential part of Learning and Teaching in the 21st century.
In Highland, communication networks’ abilities to extend into the community and beyond, to support the aim of participation and inclusion for all in life-long learning; help to overcome the geographical restraints for remote communities; make provision for those who cannot take advantage of normal school education or have additional support needs.
