Strontian Primary School is a non-denominational school located at the head of Loch Sunart at the junction of the Ardnamurchan and Morvern Peninsulas.  Its slight inaccessibility gives the area a very special quality of life.  The combination of the beautiful Sunart Oakwoods and the loch give it a special status as an area of conservation. The Sunart Oakwoods Initiative stimulates the local economy and provides amenity benefits to the local community. The school serves a wide rural area, from Ardery and Glen Cripesdale to Polloch, Klimalieu and Kingairloch. The nursery class is located in the nearby Ardnamurchan High School.
