Altnaharra Primary School is situated in an isolated spot and it provides its pupils with a stimulating learning environment which is supported by an ethos of encouraging achievement and celebrating success. We promote actively, partnership between home, school and the wider community and have an active Fun Day Committee. Presently there is one mainstream class in the school. As the school follows an inclusive policy all children are taught in the mainstream class. There is currently one pupil in P1-7 with a further 2 pupils in the Nursery. The school has one teacher and shares a headteacher with Lairg Primary.
