Avoch Primary School is situated in the village of Avoch on the southern edge of the Black Isle. The school serves the communities of Avoch, Fortrose and Rosemarkie and the surrounding districts. The school provides its pupils with a safe, welcoming, purposeful learning and teaching environment. We develop partnership with parents, School Board, Parent Teacher Association and all support agencies. There are presently 10 mainstream classes in the school with a spacious, purpose built Nursery adjoining the Early Stages Department. Classroom assistants and auxiliaries assist the teaching staff. The school roll is 256.The school environs are being developed for social /educational purposes such as Millennium Hedge, Playground games and equipment, Woodland Trail and Pond.
