Tore Primary School is situated at Muckernich close to the Tore roundabout. For many years it has served the community around Tore Village.
The main part of the school is an old building which houses two classrooms, ICT suite, a general purpose room/canteen, kitchen and toilet block. Staff room, office and Meeting/Resource room are now situated in the newly refurbished school house. There is another class is situated in a portacabin which is connected to the main part of the school by a corridor.
There are two grassed areas, tarmac painted with games and a playground area with play equipment which is in the process of being refurbished.
The school is situated in beautiful countryside and outdoor excursions are a regular feature on the timetable. We have a security system installed at the front door of the schoolhouse.
Tore Hall is rented by the Education Authority for our use for P.E. and other activities including drama and music.
