Gairloch Primary School provides its pupils with a stimulating learning environment in an attractive, well maintained building. We have established strong home, school partnership and links with the wider community. The school has an extremely active and supportive Parents Association. There are presently 3 mainstream classes in the school with a further 2 classes taught in the medium of Gaelic. English and Gaelic nurseries cater for the children aged 3-5 years. There are currently 81 pupils in P1-7 (English & Gaelic) with a further 18 pupils in the nurseries. The school has 6 teaching staff including the headteacher who has a teaching commitment of 3.5 days, 2 nursey assistants and 2 nursery auxiliaries.
