Kinlochewe Primary School is in North-West Ross-shire and serves a delineated area from Achnasheen in the East. It is situated in the Incheril area of Kinlochewe and is sited in a most panoramic setting. School transport from these outlying areas is provided.
Kinlochewe School has a happy welcoming atmosphere and aims to provide its pupils with a stimulating learning environment which is supported by an ethos of encouraging achievement and celebrating success. Children are encouraged to develop self-esteem, confidence and to care for themselves, other people and the environment. We actively promote partnership between home, school and the wider community and have a newly formed Parents Council.
It is a one teacher school with a current role of 12 pupils and 2 children in Nursery. Accommodation consists of 2 classrooms, one used for the Nursery and a separate Library/Resource area. There is a safe outdoor playground area and the nearby Village Hall is used for PE. School lunches are cooked on the premises.
A maroon and silver school uniform is worn, this gives the children a sense of pride and identity in their school and has great parental support.
