Kinlochewe Primary School is in North-West Ross-shire and serves a delineated area from Luibmore in the East, Loch Maree in the West to Coulin Estate in the South. It is situated in the Incheril area of Kinlochewe and is sited in a most panoramic setting. School transport from these outlying areas is provided.
Kinlochewe School has a happy welcoming atmosphere and aims to provide its pupils with a stimulating learning environment which is supported by an ethos of encouraging achievement and celebrating success. Children are encouraged to develop self-esteem, confidence and to care for themselves, other people and the environment. We actively promote partnership between home, school and the wider community and have a newly formed Parents Council.
It is a one teacher school with a current role of 12 pupils and 1 child in Nursery. Accommodation consists of 2 classrooms, one used for the Nursery and a separate Library/Resource area. There is a safe outdoor playground area and the nearby Village Hall is used for PE. School lunches are cooked on the premises.
A maroon and silver school uniform is worn, this gives the children a sense of pride and identity in their school and has great parental support.
