Poolewe Primary School is one in which the pupils, parents, staff, and community are proud and which helps children develop an understanding and appreciation of themselves and others. The school aims to promote learning and achievement and the celebration of success. We actively encourage partnership between home, school and the wider community.
Poolewe Primary School is a rural school set beside the beautiful River Ewe in the village of Poolewe. The school has a pleasant outlook, with a tree-fringed playing field to the north. The playground at the back has been marked with playground games. A demountable unit in the playground has been renovated and furnished as a library. The School consists of two classrooms, a general-purpose area used for Drama, PE and other activities and a dining room. The Nursery is housed in the old school house attached to the school. The nursery has a sensory garden and grass area. At present there are 26 children in the school and 9 children in the nursery.
