Kinbrace Primary School is situated in a remote area of North East Sutherland. The school aims to provide it’s small number of pupils with a stimulating learning environment where each pupil is encouraged to give of her or his best. The school is committed to improving attainment and to the all round development of the pupils.
There is one class committed Headteacher, who has one and a half days Management Relief weekly. The Classroom Assistant supports the children and the school also has a Clerical Assistant.
Specialist provision for Expressive Arts is poor at present with only a visiting Music teacher. The pupils are sometimes taken to Helmsdale Primary School( 17 miles away) to mix with their peers, form friendships and access P.E. and Art.
