Carr Bridge Primary School places a high priority on providing a happy and safe environment where children and staff can work well. Staff ensure that within this environment children progress emotionally, socially and intellectually. Parents and the school work together for the benefit of the children. Local businesses also support the school community.
Carr Bridge Primary School is a modern one storey building set in attractive grounds which have been landscaped to allow for a pleasant and interesting outdoor environment allowing learning and investigations to happen, as well as play. The school is set within the environs of the Cairngorm National Park and this is reflected in eco schools focus.
The school has three classrooms, which are spacious and bright, and a fourth, which is presently used as an attractive and stimulating library.
The school also has a large PE hall/dining room where delicious lunches, freshly cooked on the premises, are served each day.
Some children have additional support needs and these are met within the mainstream classrooms. The school is fully adapted for disabled access.
Our nursery is within a purpose built extension, providing a learning environment of outstanding quality for 3 and 4 year olds.
Carr-Bridge Primary School is non-denominational and co-educational for pupils from Primary 1 to Primary 7.
