Deshar Primary School serves the village of Boat of Garten and its surrounding area. The school currently has 52 pupils in P1-7 and 9 in the Nursery class. There are 3 class teachers in the Primary and the Nursery is overseen by a Nursery Co-ordinator. The school enjoys an excellent rural location and provides an excellent learning environment for its pupils. Strong links have been created between the school, parents, the wider community and those schools within the Grantown Cluster.
