Dalneigh Primary School provides its pupils with a stimulating learning environment which is supported by an ethos of encouraging achievement and celebrating success.  We actively promote partnership between home, school and the wider community and have a School Board. There are presently 8 mainstream classes in the school. We also have a number of children with special needs, including those with a specific language difficulty, who are supported within the mainstream classes by teachers, classroom assistants and Learning Support Auxiliaries.  There are currently 199 pupils in P1-7 with a further 35 in the Nursery.  The school has 11 teaching staff.
