Mallaig Primary School is fully accessible, has an open door policy and provides all stakeholders with a stimulating learning environment which is supported by an ethos of encouraging achievement and celebrating success. We promote partnership between school, home and the wider community as well as with other schools in the Associated Schools Group. We have an active School Board.
There are 3 English classes and 3 classes taught through the medium of Gaelic. We have English and a Gaelic Nursery classes operating in a bright and stimulating room within the school. The current roll is 108 including 23 Nursery pupils. The school has 6 full time Class Teachers and is well supported by peripatetic Teachers of Music and Physical Education as well as11 ancillary staff.
