At Drakies Primary School we aim to provide a secure, caring and stimulating environment in which the potential of all pupils will be developed. We are concerned with the ‘all round’ development of pupils and foster an ethos of celebrating achievement and success both in and out of school. We promote partnership with parents, outside agencies and the wider community and have an active and supportive Parents Association.
There are presently 9 primary classes in the school with a school roll of 225. We cater for a number of pupils with additional needs who are supported by Additional Support Needs Teachers and auxiliary staff. We also have morning and afternoon nursery sessions.
