Fàilte gu Ard Sgoil Phortrigh/Welcome to Portree High School (PHS). Portree High School is a fully comprehensive school, catering for pupils from S1 to S6. We have 15 associated primary schools, spread across the Isle of Skye and Raasay.  At present we have 640 pupils and approximately 60 teachers.  These are very exciting times at PHS as in August 2008 we  moved into a new purpose built building. The new building  includes wonderful new community facilities including a new swimming pool, a new library and archive, an adult learning centre, a new games hall and a performance venue.
