Raasay Primary School was established in 1875 and is situated on the beautiful Island of Raasay.  It boasts panoramic views across the Sound of Raasay to the Isle of Skye.  The Head Teacher is class-committed, currently supported by one other teacher (part-time) and classroom assistant.  We have a new Nursery building and we currently have 1 nursery pupil and 1 Nursery Auxiliary.  Outside we have a new school shelter and a large school grounds with woodland, pond and lawn area.

We share responsibility of a very positive ethos with the wider island community.  Our Parent Council has a very active and supportive role with our school.
