Castletown Primary School actively promotes the development of the four capacities highlighted in the Curriculum for Excellence – responsible citizens, effective contributors, confident individuals and successful learners.

We have a strong ethos of valuing diversity and endorsing inclusion.  Our aim is to engender positive behaviour and high levels of self esteem, encouraging self-discipline and a caring attitude towards others.

We actively promote partnership with the local community and have a strong and supportive PFTA.  Our parents are showing strong interest in the formation of a Parent Council.

There are presently 6 classes with a Nursery class and a Playgroup situated in an annexe.  The present roll is 139 with 17 in the nursery class.
