Miller Academy Primary School values children.  We work to create a happy and secure atmosphere in which we nurture confidence and self-esteem.  We foster positive relationships and we encourage a life long love of learning.  We actively promote harmonious partnerships with parents and carers through the School Board and PSA and through day to day contact with all our families and carers. Our school has four teaching blocks, a nursery, a dining block and kitchen, an administration office as well as general purpose areas. We have a library area, which we are currently updating and we have an ICT suite installed.   Our school is bright and spacious and we have a policy of on-going improvements and maintenance.  We have a Victorian Classroom in one of the teaching blocks which is accessed by schools in our local area. There are presently 13 mainstream classes in the school. There are currently 328 pupils in P1-7 with a further 36 pupils in the Nursery. The school has 14 full-time teaching staff, three visiting specialist teachers for music, P.E. and Art and two part-time Additional Support Needs teachers.
