Through DTS we have produced 3 DVD showing good practise in the delivery of Skills for Work courses. These are designed to give you ideas and see how a school could run the course as well as Parents, Pupils, Teachers and Senior Management Team views on the courses.
Sport & Recreation, Int 2 – Grantown Grammar School
Grantown Grammar School has developed a partnership with the Craig MacLean Centre to offer pupils the opportunity to undertake Sport & Recreation Int 2 in the senior school.
Rural Skills, Int 1 - Ullapool High School
Ullapool High School has 3 partnerships which support the Rural Skills course, Leckmelm Estate, Culag Woodland Trust and LUGG. Rural Skills is offered to pupils in S5 the course has also allowed the school grounds to be developed.
Hospitality, Int 1 & 2 – Kingussie High School
Kingussie High Schools Hospitality course has been so successful they now offer it at both Intermediate 1 & 2 levels. The partnership between the school, The Auld Alliance and the school kitchen allows pupils to see different aspect of the Hospitality industry first hand.
