The Highlands of Scotland is known for its stunning natural heritage, safe communities and excellent quality of life, stretching from Caithness in the north to Badenoch and Strathspey in the south.  Inverness is one of the fastest growing, vibrant cities in the UK. Nearby Loch Ness is a magnet for visitors eager to see the "monster". We’re also home to the Cairngorms, Scotland’s second National Park and the largest in the UK.  Lochaber is hailed as the Outdoor Capital of the UK, boasting the highest mountain in the UK, Ben Nevis and and our wonderful environment also features the Isle of Skye and the Cuillin mountain range. Nairn and Dornoch boast two of the best golf courses in the country.
