Adult literacy
The Adult Literacies team, comprising Highland Adult Literacies and Adult Basic Education, based at Library Support Unit, provides support for those working to help adults develop skills in reading, writing and numeracy, and can help to identify sources of funding for adult literacy projects in Highland and provide awareness raising training.
Highland Adult Literacies is a sub group of Highland Community Learning and Development Partnership.
Adult Basic Education is the Highland Council’s designated service for literacy and numeracy provision.
