Access Transparent Language on an iPad or mobile Device
iPad users can use the BYKI Community Edition app. This app is a companion to the site and does have access to a lot of the languages available.
1. Download and install the app from the links below or search for "Byki Community Edition" on your device app store:
2. Log into your Transparent Language Online account on a Windows PC or Mac OS X system. Select "Go Mobile" button in the upper right of the page, it will open a window that shows how to activate the mobile app.
Language Packs - Browse Highland Libraries collection of language learning packs. To browse a specific language, add "AND" and the name of the language e.g. loantype:"Language Pack" AND French inthe catalogue search box.
Adult Fiction books – available in Polish, Russian, French, Hungarian - these are kept at Inverness Library, but can be sent to any Highland Library. The selection is changed regularly. Please see our online catalogue for a list of current titles.
