The Joseph Cook collection of photographs shows life in
Inverness from the 1850s to the 1920s. Joseph Cook (1881-1973) was a director of Walker’s Sawmills, Inverness, and went to great lengths to acquire photographs of all aspects of his native town, many of which he used to illustrate talks he gave on the history and development of Inverness.
