When you join a Highland Library, you become a member for the entire Highland Council area and can borrow books from any Highland Library! To find out how to become a member, how much it costs (nothing!) or how long you can keep borrowed items, read about your local library.
Every library (except Knoydart) has at least one computer, with colour printing and scanning facilities, offering free public access to the internet and to online reference sources equivalent to a large city reference library. You can also access materials which will help you to work towards the ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) qualification and other distance learning courses.
