The mobile library van is based at Gairloch and operates a three weekly schedule of visits throughout a wide area of West Ross and into Lochalsh. An outline of the schedule is below. January 2012 - Due to the landslide near Strome, the mobile library will be unable to visit the Plockton area until further notice. Borrowers can use the branch libraries at Plockton and Kyle. Items on loan can be renewed by phone , e-mail or on-line( PIN number required) . Items can be requested in the same way.
