New library open in Dingwall:
Highland Libraries is pleased to announce that the new Dingwall Community Library opened on Monday 9th June (see press release). The opening hours are as follows:

Rhyme Time
Every Thursday morning 10.40 am - 11am during school term.
Stories and songs for pre-school children. NB: children must be accompanied by an adult. We look forward to seeing new faces as well as old ones.
Reading groups
We have two reading groups - the evening group meets on the last Tuesday of each month from 7.00 - 8.30 pm in the library; the afternoon group meets on the last Wednesday of each month from 2.00 - 3.30 in the library. New members are welcome to join at any time - the groups are friendly and informal, you can join in or just listen, it's up to you. Members usually discuss one or two titles they have chosen from the library service multiple copy collection. Please contact the library if you would like more information.

Our on-line catalogue is available through any internet-linked computer. Library members can place requests, check what they have on loan and renew items which are about to become overdue for return – you just need the bar code number from your library card and your PIN. If you do not know your PIN ask at your local library.
