Bookbug Sessions
Every Thursday morning 11 - 11.20 am
They are free, fun, informal sessions with trained staff incorporating rhymes, songs, music and stories for pre-school children and their parents / carers to share and enjoy together. NB: children must be accompanied by an adult. We look forward to seeing new faces as well as old ones.

Reading groups
We have two reading groups - the evening group meets on the last Tuesday of each month from 7.00 - 8.30 pm in the library; the afternoon group meets on the last Wednesday of each month from 2.00 - 3.30 in the library. New members are welcome to join at any time - the groups are friendly and informal - you can join in or just listen, it's up to you. Members usually discuss one or two titles they have chosen from the library service multiple copy collection. Please contact the library if you would like more information. We also have a teenage reading group who meet in the library during school term time.

Dingwall Community Library Profile
Library Profiles provide basic performance information for each library in the Highland Libraries network. They are updated annually in July/August. Click here to download Dingwall Library profile document 2011-2012.
For FAQs, information about joining the library and membership forms see Your Local Library. For more information about services available through Highland Libraries follow the links relating to internet and computer use and reference and information services. Resources available for loan include books, audio books and DVDs. If what you want is not immediately available you can place a request for it.
Our on-line catalogue is available through any internet-linked computer. Library members can place requests, check what they have on loan and renew items which are about to become overdue for return – you just need the bar code number from your library card and your PIN. If you do not know your PIN ask at your local library.
Mobile libraries operate throughout Highland. They work to a timetable, and follow routes planned to make best use of time. For local mobile library stops look at the routes for the Dingwall mobile library.
