Activities at Fortrose Library
Poetry Evening -The Poetry group meets in the library to share some favourite poems. Meeting from 7.30 to 9.00pm anyone who is interested in joining this informal group is invited to come along. The next meeting will take place February.
Fortrose Library Reading Group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm. Anyone interested in reading and discussing books is welcome to come along. There is usually a lively interesting discussion at each meeting. A wide range of books are chosen with members suggesting titles. If you are interested in an afternoon reading group please contact the library as we hope to start one soon.
Teenage Reading Group This takes place at lunch time on Mondays for school pupils.
Free Rhyme Times for children around 2 years of age are held each Monday from 9.30 to 9.50am. Sessions aim to encourage the enjoyment of rhymes, stories and books amongst young children and their parents and carers. (Please note these take place in term time only.)

Resources available for loan include books, audio books and DVDs. If what you want is not immediately available you can place a request for it.
Our on-line catalogue is available through any internet-linked computer. Library members can place requests, check what they have on loan and renew items which are about to become overdue for return – you just need the bar code number from your library card and your PIN. If you do not know your PIN ask at your local library.
