Lochbroom Leisure is one Centre, but jointly owned by Highland Council and the Community for the benefit of all the people of Ullapool, Lochbroom, Coigach and the surrounding areas. The games hall, fitness room and associated facilities are owned and operated by Highland Council, while the swimming pool, known as "Ullaspool", is owned and operated by a locally run charity. The whole building is staffed by Highland Council.
The facility is located in the Heart of Ullapool and is ideally situated for local and visitors alike. Ullapool is the largest populated village on the North West Coast of the Highlands and also offers a good base for visitors to stay and there is little doubt that the facilities of the Leisure Centre go a long way to helping Ullapool maintain this.
The facility offers a wide variety of programmes and activities for all ages and abilities including swimming, lessons, family fun, badminton, basketball, tennis, bouncy castle, Body Balance, Indoor cycling and much more.
