Beaches and Picnic Sites
There are many good sites well worth a visit including:-
Bonar Bridge Picnic Site (NH 609 914)-
A beautifully kept site overlooking Bonar Bridge, the Kyle of Sutherland and the upper reaches of the Dornoch Firth.
Achmelvich Beach (NC 057 248)-
Stunning white sand beach and wildflower machair surrounded by croftland. There is also an adjacent camping and caravan site and Youth Hostel nearby.
Reiss Beach (ND 344 556)-
Visit one of the most beautiful and longest stretches of beach in Caithness.
